it is a newer version of a barbie and i had tons of them when i was a kid and i turned out to be a respectable woman, so as long as i raise my daughter the right way and teach her to respect her self and others i don’t see why not.

Okay, well I am not a parent, however I know what you mean because my neighbours have quite the collection of Bratz and Barbies. Both dolls are the same kind of unrealistic image, however most of these girls who have the dolls also watch the Barbie movies and Bratz shows. While babysitting my neighbours I have on different occasions watched both and they are very innocent shows. So pretty much, I think that those dolls are fine for playing with, so long as the parents make it clear that women are not *** objects

Even my 6 year old Daughter when passing by these in the stores will glance at them and shake her head and say, “That is so wrong Momma”. Anyone with any brains would see these are inappropriate for any child. They do look like hookers.

Yes my daughter love them (thumbs down me if you like) but these dolls are supposed to be teenagers and aimed at older girls, so yes my daughter is 10 and loves them, Now Barbie is aimed at younger girls and always has been, but as i say these dolls are very popular if you don’t like them you don’t have to buy them, and yes my daughter has the one with the blue base Chloe !

I don’t like the idea that they are called Bratz, because I would not want my daughter having a Brat as an idol.

Absolutely not and I’m no prude. I’m a pretty “cool” mom who is open-minded about a lot of stuff and I don’t believe in sheltering my kids from the world, however these Bratz dolls are ridiculous. They serve no purpose but to distort our kid’s views of what a girl looks and should look like. I know alot of other mom’s who don’t agree w/ the Bratz dolls either. Whatever happened to Barbie and Skipper in their little matching dresses? I guess that’s ‘lame’ now. I’d honestly rather my kids play w/ this:

No I agree they are ****** dolls that send the wrong message. Girls will want to dress like them!
